As usual, with high temperatures, the nonsense of joe public posting car temps, in their fucking garden temps, with temp sensors/thermometers directly above heated slabs, in direct sun, all fucking believing their 40°C+ readings are actual air temperatures
@bablakewx Im currently at 32.2°C as well here in Peterbrough. My data series only goes back to 2006, but as dont have access to my June maxes until i get home, cannot say its a date record breaker with me
@betangel All about American TV having 'qtrs' so thsy can sell ad time at a premium. Drinks breaks should only be required when they are genuinky needed, i.e., heat/high humidity, not when in an air con stadium
@SenseiChanning@seeley_nigel Blimey chaps. What a rollercoaster that was. So near, only munutes away. Hope both of you hedged some of your positions, so made a few bob out of the decent shout when putting up the 'Tarts' early doors. Keep up the excellent work geezaaasss.
@MatthewMantle3 Racing broadcasts from any organisation been long time angst with me. Close up shots, when you want to see the field jumping or when on the run in, again the poxy close up. Sure some of these picture directors are NOT punters/traders. They always seem to be on an arty farty vibe
@SkyNews 'Live' is never really live. There is always a slight delay in broadcasts.Surely there was enough of a delay, even a few seconds, to mute out what was shouted
@peacockreports The usual suspects will have screaming HUGE FONT headline akin to 100ft Snow Bomb to Hit UK, 'Met Office' confirms, although we know exacta, sorry, exactly who peddles the nonsense....
