This is cool. Python bakal diimplementasikan di dalam Microsoft Excel.

Microsoft mengumumkan perubahan signifkan dengan mengeluarkan Public Preview Python di Excel. Fitur ini memungkinkan kita untuk secara mudah menggabungkan Python dan Excel di dalam workbook kita, tanpa setup ribet. Di sini kita bisa secara langsung ngetik codingan Python di dalam cell Excel. Kalkulasi ini berjalan di cloud, dan hasilnya muncul di worksheet, termasuk plot dan visualisasi.

Fitur Python di Excel sementara ini masih ada di Public Preview, yaotu mereka yang masuk Microsoft 365 Insiders prigram, nanti dicoba di kanal beta di Excel untuk Windows.

Dengan begini, pengguna Excel bakal makin powerful memakai aplikasi ini. Kita jadi bisa visualisasi lebih lengkap, cleaning data, melakukan hitungan machine learning, dan macam-macam. Kita juga bisa gabungin dengan fitur Excel yang sudah ada seperti PivotTables, chart Excel, formula, dan juga konektor Power Query.

Buat kantor yang sudah memakai Microsoft 365, ini bakal memudahkan banget sih ngolah data. Lalu, apakah ini bisa masukin library? Tentu bisa. Kita bisa memakai #dataviz seperti seaborn atau matplotlib. Buat machine learning, bisa pakai scikit-learn.

Anaconda berkontribusi terhadap implementasi Python di Excel. Ini memungkinkan fungsi dasar Python ada di Excel, tapi juga 400 lebih package yang dikurasi Anaconda, selain library yang sudah disebutkan tadi.
