Thank you to everyone who gave their time over our domestic season. Your actions have produced some amazing results and highlighted the depth of talent in our sport that could not have happened without your contribution.
As the summer season comes to a close, we'd like to thank our @AthleticsNTO cohort for their dedication to Australian athletics.
Our Officials are the lifeblood of our sport and without each of them, our domestic season would not be a success. πππ

Very pleased with my longest coached athlete, 45 yr-old @LisaWeightman today; 3rd in the Osaka Marathon in another Olympic qualifier, 2:24:43. Better be careful not to mix her training up with that of my 17 yr-old Cam Myers (who ran his 2nd 1500 qualifier last Thursday, 3:33:50)!
π A glimpse into what the future may have in store? π€ π
At the moment, Australian teenage phenom Cameron Myers is showcasing times reminiscent of what Jakob Ingebrigtsen was doing in early 2018.
FYI: Ingebrigtsen did go on to run 3:31.18 for 1500m (at 17 years, 10 months old) and 13:17.06 for 5000m (at 17 years, 11 months old)
