@SaturdayKitchen Possibly message for next week. Almost every butcher in the Black Country, where Frank is from, sells faggots, usually home made. There is intense competition as to whose are the best.
@chrislepkowski We used to queue at our local newsagents to wait for the Sporting Star and the Argus. Baggies fans waited about 15 mins longer for the Argus because the coverage of the Albion was better.
#wba Who is Matt Slater? If his main source is Steve Madeley (a friend of mine), then that's second hand. Steve does not cover Albion anymore for The Athletic. Does he have any "inside" contacts of his own? There are a lot of us.
2/2 As a former Albion reporter and your university sports journalism lecturer, I am truly sad. You followed in a long list of distinguished Albion reporters including Ray Matts, David Harrison and Denis Sunley to name but a few. It's a shame Reach don't recognise that legacy.
The volume of responses and messages is something I couldnโt have comprehended. Thank you for each and every one of them, they mean a lot. Gutted I wonโt be continuing with the daily coverage. See you in the home end. UTA ๐๐ค #wba
I know you can't criticise your employers Joe, so I'll do it for you. This is a ridiculous decision by Reach in the heart of their prime circulation area. They are handing viewers/readers to the E&S. You have always covered the Albion with diligence and accuracy. 1/2.

Which line Duncan? I have done the same thing from Stourbridge Junction. Apart from one bad day in the strikes, it's been good. No trains on Boxing day so I got the Metro from Bilston, which was excellent.
Driving to The Hawthorns is a bit of a lottery so Iโve switched to the train. My train home after the game has already been cancelled and my train to the game is delayed by half an hour. But the previous train is delayed by an hour so I might still get that and make ko. #shambles
@baggiedave70@sooty19771 Sorry Dave I didn't make myself clear. I was referring to the first football league derby between the two sides on 1888. I was aware we had played the Villa previously.
#itvsport#FACup The utterly useless ITV presenter of the cup draw has just failed to mention the likelihood of a WBA v Wolves fourth round. These clubs have won the cup nine times between them and the Black Country derby is the oldest in the world. But this is beneath her ken.
#wba#baggies We've got some bright kids here. Just ban the Vile scouts so we can keep them. They can't find similar in the whole of Greater Birmingham.
#wba#baggies Dike looking sharp but not match fit. Some of these kids are v good and should be at least on the bench in league matches. Corberan certainly knows how to coach players at this level. Well done.
2/2. But there is no excuse for biased local commentary. Some of us have done this job.
The bloke doing Cardiff v WBA at present is one-eyed and doesn't appear to know many of the Baggies players. No excuse. Sort it Sky.
Sky red button is a welcome addition to our Championship experience. But it is deeply faulted.
Having worked with the Sky tech dept I can understand their problems with getting half a dozen feeds on at the same time, thus the late switches to the games.
