When insiders from the White House state that the president is at his best from 10 AM to 4 PM It stands to reason that an evening performance would be sub-par. Joe Biden’s saving grace is that he can regurgitate one liners and read from a teleprompter. Sadly, thinking on his own without notes isn’t working very well. Based on what we’re observing now, what will he be like in 4+ years, assuming that he’s still alive? For the good of the country, he must not run again. If Gretchen Whitmer was the Democratic candidate she would clobber Trump in a debate. She could also keep underachieving Kamala Harris as the VP candidate as a face-saving gesture.
Under no circumstances should Joe Biden run for a second term. He must step aside for the good of the nation.
I listened to Governor Gretchen Whitmer speak earlier today. If she was the Democratic candidate she would beat Trump in the next debate hands down. I can see no reason why she couldn’t become the next president of the United States. I am convinced that most Independents who are currently sitting on the fence would vote for her.
The CBC was interested in determining if all of the leaders of Canada’s federal political parties were attending Pride parades and festivities on June 29th. They don’t seem to be interested in determining if any of them will be attending the internment of Newfoundland’s Unknown Soldier on Canada Day.
Joe Biden’s people stated that his performance last night could be attributed to a cold. That’s right out of the playbook of the former USSR. When their octogenarian leaders were on death’s door and went missing from sight the line from the state propaganda machine was “he has a cold.” Days later, Radio Moscow would play uninterrupted classical music and eventually it was announced that the leader was dead. It’s time for the Democrats to dust off the Beethoven and Mozart records and get out the record player. Joe Biden might physically be alive but politically he’s dead.

In America they have the military-industrial complex. In Canada we have the educational-financial complex, where publicly funded institutions of higher learning seem to be more interested in generating revenue from students than they are in educating them. Increasing enrolment without taking reasonable steps to ensure that the welfare of these young adults is looked after is just irresponsible. Appropriate, and reasonably priced housing is part of the equation.
