The ZRP continues to strengthen partnerships with the community, traditional leaders, churches, schools, businesses and other stakeholders to foster collective responsibility in the fight against crime. As part of this thrust, ZRP Victoria Falls District recently launched the Victoria Falls District Community Crime Prevention Network (CCPN) at a ceremony attended by the National CCPN, pastors from various churches and other stakeholders. The event was officiated by the Officer Commanding Police, Victoria Falls District, Chief Superintendent Tavaziva. During the launch a crime awareness campaign focusing on domestic violence, drug and substance abuse, and other crimes affecting communities was conducted.
A HERO’S WELCOME…It was a pleasure to welcome Citizens’ Hero, Godfrey Karembera, affectionately known as Madzibaba veShanduko and family, to our offices in Harare. A loyal, committed, and dedicated cadre, he remains steadfast and determined in the pursuit of a New Great Zimbabwe within our lifetime.
We extend our profound appreciation to the Citizens Welfare Bureau and to all the citizens who supported and contributed to his family’s welfare throughout this difficult period of persecution. Your solidarity and generosity have been truly inspiring.
The citizens are organizing.#Chapwati #NewGreatZimbabwe
If CAB3 was popular, they wouldn’t be FORCE feeding it to us daily, they wouldn’t be paying hefty amounts of money 💰 to the Opposition leaders, MPs, Senators, Judges, etc., to buy their SILENCE, they wouldn’t be paying Chihuahuas kutinyaudza daily! Munonyepa!! MISWAI!!
March and March Movement leader Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma received a letter from Limpopo stating that she & her team are not welcome in the province. The letter states that Limpopo is a place of peace and unity and should not be used to promote division or conflict among residents.
Nhai @leonardzhakata after receiving a car some time back and USD50k few days ago, do you still maintain your words to our leaders that
“…makaita mhanza yekukwirapo pamusoro kwakuchitora mukana uyu seuchenjeri motanga kutsikirira vari pasi, motanga kusvipira mate vari pasi…”
I blame HIM.
Without the right people united in parly representing people, the devils running the country wouldn’t have had it easy.
Iyi nehama dzake iNonsense dzeVanhu.
And everyone who supported them. Rubbish yega yega. 🚮🚮🚮🚮🚮
The only point worth making in this debate, in my view, is that Parliament has no moral authority to debate a Bill on which the public was denied any opportunity to deliberate, and on which their voice will not be heard in a referendum. Beyond that, the chamber should otherwise be filled with disruptive chants of “20:30 uniona paWatch”, otherwise you trying to turn water to wine.
Only FOOLS will believe such nonsense! If this rubbish was important , then they would have called for the referendum… they must think people are stupid like their paid BOOTLICKERS!! 🚮🚮🚮
She Forgot Mbappe never won Champion’s League and had to change the football team after changing the football team the team started winning trophies.
This is the hidden revelation ED must rest for Zimbabwe to start winning @ZANUPF_Official
I understand your frustration. Many Zimbabweans feel the same anger, disappointment, and sense of helplessness when they see institutions that should protect citizens being used to protect those in power.
But history teaches us that governments do not derive their strength from the police, the army, or even the law. Their ultimate strength comes from the consent, participation, and cooperation of the people- THE CITIZENS. When citizens lose hope, withdraw from civic engagement, and accept that nothing can change, those in power become even stronger.
You are right that elections alone are not enough. Social media alone is not enough. Complaining alone is not enough. But neither is despair a strategy.
The challenge before us is to build a stronger, more organized, and more united citizens' movement—one that goes beyond personalities, beyond political parties, and beyond moments of outrage. Sustainable change requires patience, sacrifice, organization, and courage.
Many supporters have lost hope because they expected change to come quickly. That disappointment is understandable. But surrendering hope guarantees the very outcome we fear.
The fight for democracy, constitutionalism, and accountable leadership is not won in a single election cycle or a single protest. It is won when citizens remain committed, organized, and determined despite setbacks.
Zimbabwe belongs to its citizens. The responsibility before us is not to give up, but to find lawful, peaceful, and effective ways to make our collective voice impossible to ignore. And The Citizens shall govern!
Ndatenda.
IT WAS ALL ABOUT ED POWER GAMES…ED worked with Tshabangu to engineer illegal recalls that ultimately handed ZANU-PF a fraudulent two-thirds parliamentary majority, in clear violation of both the law and democratic principles.
Unfortunately, when the recalls began, many failed to recognize that this was part of a long-planned strategy orchestrated by ED. It was never about the claims that the CCC lacked a constitution or formal structures. In Zimbabwe you can not submit party candidates to ZEC without a party constitution. Parliament and Mudenda were in possession of CCC constitution but chose to ignore it on instructions from his Zpf Boss. Those no constitution and nil structures narratives were merely a smokescreen.
Some individuals, driven by their disagreements with Nelson Chamisa, celebrated the recalls, unaware that they were in fact celebrating the erosion of democracy and the weakening of our nation. The foundation for the current constitutional amendment agenda was laid in 2023 through those engineered and unlawful recalls.
However, all is not lost. The real struggle lies ahead. The task before us is to continue fighting for a Citizens' Government—one that reflects the true will and aspirations of the people of Zimbabwe. The future of our country depends on the determination of its citizens to defend voice, agency and fundamental rights .
Arrested, tortured and held in prison for 8 months in pre-trial detention accused of inciting violence, opposition activist Godfrey Karembera, popularly known as Madzibaba VeShanduko, acquitted and set free by a Harare court today. Jim Kunaka and Jestere Malcom Masarira also free
