@Brightonian_ Forced Slot to sub both Frimpong and Konate ( both on yellow cards) as he was skinning them for pace, although my favourite bit was when he sprinted back 50m to tackle Frimpong who'd left Ferdi in his wake

@England For those questioning this. He's every Brighton fans "top bloke" he's there as a training goalkeeper. He won't play but will support the other keepers, he'll encourage them and train hard laugh and smile. And IS PL best passing gk, long or short. 😁 chuffed for him!!

@Xhakalaka34 @_toosb "Rules are rules" in football the referee interprets and implements rules. The referee saw and deemed it fair contact. So no reason to stop play THAT'S the "rule". Diarra went down, his head didn't touch the ground, half got up, then decided to feign head injury to stop play

@TheBrightonBard Agree.I thought VAR would be for Sunderlands beach ball, Lampards Germany goal, not millimetres offside or re refereeing Bournemouth penalties. I was at OT and could instantly celebrate Danny but had to wait to see if Babis leveller overhead kick was VAR dangerous.

@BhaAlex_ It's a long term project. The reality is if we have great players/manager/ backroom staff other teams with more support/prestige/money will want them. I'm happy not being relegated and every few years challenging for Europe or a Cup. It's just reality. I know who wr are
