A 36-year-old Portuguese man climbed over the perimeter fence at Lisbon's Humberto Delgado Airport around 8:55 a.m. on Sunday, entering the apron area.

According to a statement from the PSP (Public Security Police), the man was intercepted by airport personnel and handed over to the authorities. He was identified and, after being attended to by INEM (National Institute of Medical Emergency), was transported to a hospital for medical evaluation.

The PSP stated that the incident did not require any disruption to airspace operations.
