Have had #covid19 cases recently who literally tried to get vaccinated, were unable to for logistical reasons due to work schedules & got sick
Cut the blame narratives folks. You’re not helping
@LeanLawStrategy I see the world’s labor market in law becoming more fungible as work from home takes root. But as you say, all this takes time. And “had we but world enough and time…”
@LeanLawStrategy Don't quarrel with what you say, but I really wonder whether 2/4 year degrees will be as common? (Think also outside the United States.)
@LeanLawStrategy Thanks for the comments. I don't see the jobs obtained through certificate training as a dead-end. In part, they will substitute for the many jobs where present lawyers are over-trained. And yes, I assume we will get away from one size fits all training.
The number of law school applicants with top (175-180) LSAT scores has doubled over last year. You don't suppose 1st-year associate starting salaries zooming past $200,000 has anything to do with that, do you?
Over on Medium, I've posted a brief provocation paper I circulated privately some weeks ago. https://t.co/WUmnjawLjb.
It touches on practice-ready, T-shaped, mass distance learning for law--and points in between!
Comments and reactions are welcome!
@michael_okun@JohnAFlood Education, medicine, infrastructure, penal systems...and on and on and on. Let's run this like a business. What say? So much more efficient.
Sad.
