@sam_d_1995 Nassau County is already denser than Bergen, Westchester, or Fairfield. Heck, Queens Boulevard (with a subway!) is still lined with one-story commercial buildings. There's plenty of low-hanging fruit there easier than putting apartment towers in Plandome.

@the_moral_abc It wasn't until I talked about my kids going trick-or-treating on FB that I learned that this seems to be a regional thing. All my friends from home (Long Island) agreed that it starts after school, college friends from elsewhere swore they didn't start until after dark.
