Notably, if elected, she is also likely to be the only gay woman in the Missouri Legislature, at a time when the rights of LGBT folks are particularly threatened by the Republicans in that chamber. They need to hear her voice.

This “concurrent majority” Rs are pushing for constitutional amendments is simple. They want Republican politicians to be able to gerrymander the vote of the people just like they gerrymander the legislature. They just can’t stand democracy or the will of voters.#moleg
