Sharing the world's worst kept secret...
I'm running for Mayor of Kansas City in 2027.
We are kicking things off June 4 at the historic Boone Theater at 18th and Vine.
I hope you can join us to hear my vision for our city and to learn about how you can help make it a reality.

The Argentina National Team is about to land at Kansas City International airport! They’re the first of KC’s four base camp teams to arrive for the #WorldCup2026. You can see Lionel Messi’s 10 on the plane’s tail. View from Kansas City’s only news helicopter. @kmbc
Morning well spent hearing from a lot of great folks doing good work across the Northland.
No matter where I find myself in Kansas City, something new is being planned and built. That’s the progress to fight for, the kind that leaves no corner behind.
Thanks to the @northlandregion and the Clay County Economic Development Council for putting on these events.
“People are currently renting these three, four, five story, mid-rise, cheap-construction buildings on the side of the highway,” he said. “They’re going to have the ability to pay the same rent and be in the heart of downtown.”

Great way to spend a morning.
Walked 80 blocks along Troost for the annual Troost Walk. The pace gave time to check out the Black-owned businesses, catch up with friends, and make some new ones along the way. Big thanks to KC G.I.F.T. and Brandon Calloway for organizing.
My friend Councilwoman Melissa Patterson Hazley gave a great speech at the ribbon cutting for the new parking garage at 18th and Lydia.
More big plans coming including a hotel and a new and improved Negros League Baseball Museum.
Also a prime spot for a street car extension.
Second district quarterly district meeting happening right now at the Green Hills library.
Ellie rogers says you should come check it out and have a donut!
Another huge step to further elevate our @kcstreetcar game coming soon!! Join us Monday, 11am, at our Riverfront extension terminus (CPKC Pavilion) to celebrate the reconnection of our riverfront!
For more than a decade, one of the most influential figures behind Kansas City’s World Cup push has worked largely behind the scenes. https://t.co/DJOhQWFzUp
