🎉 I released my first npm package: json-mock-api! 🎉

Mock an api with a folder full of plain JSON files, without any configuration:
✅ The file paths become server endpoints
✅ Different response for GET, POST, etc via file names
✅ Custom middleware

@toffringa De publicatie staat online

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

@A11yLondon Is there a difference in pronunciation between #PascalCase and #camelCase?

I find camel case easier to type (so I assume easier adoption?), but I am unsure about the effectiveness

[Lea Verou, PhD @LeaVerou]

Probably the most well put argument I’ve seen about this.

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

@A11yLondon Before implementing a dyslexic-friendly font, I found some research about it. I could not find studies confirming better performance.

As a person with dislexia, I prefer serif fonts for readability. The but I get distracted by my preference of sans serif for esthetic reasons

@hdv Add @NetlifyCMS into the mix, and you'll have best of both worlds!!

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

@hdv You thank them for the feature request, and ask if they can submit a PR. When that comes in, you'll say that you have to consult with the product owner. If the product owner will approve, it goes on to the backlog, but you don't have any say in the priority

@rodshen After 8 years of professional software development, 5 of those as a front-end dev, during my yearly review, I told my boss: "I want to spend more time learning the fundamentals".

You can always learn something new. Everyone can.

Never stop learning, do not beat yourself up.

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

After more than 7.5 fantastic years at De Voorhoede, today begins something new. I started as a front-end dev at @decorrespondent!

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

🙏 Thanks for all the quick recommendations.

We are looking at various options.

The Instagram business account of a real close friend got hacked. Completely locked out.

Instagram is a big source of business for them.

Do I know someone at @instagram or someone who knows anyone over there that could help out?

Plz RT. Thanks so much!

@joaocarmona do you know about public transport to Portugal? I need to go there because I am invited to a wedding, but I really do not want to fly... But I have no idea where to start looking

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

@ppk For the most part: grid-template. With grid area it is so much easier that mess with the DOM order Vs visual order. So I only use grid-area when I am absolutely sure.

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

@RianRietveld "our massive page header should be at the bottom of the DOM because of its weight"

Breaking tab order along with it

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

@SaraSoueidan Like others, I use my RSS reader. When I want to revisit it later, I usually use a search engine combining it with your name. Guess I am fortunate enough to always have an active internet connection. So the offline part is not necessary for me.

Tja... die Joey... end of an era

[Peter Goes @petergoes]

@PhotoJeanique Kan ik alleen maar van harte aanbevelen...
