@AdamLeviLAX I don’t know how there was ever higher attendance. Folks were being turned away from the box office before the game last night. It was the most full I’ve ever seen the seats (even in a sellout, there are always seats empty).
@DhaneBriere@HootSportsMedia@LacrosseBoss Paid the silly price tag for a @flosports subscription to watch the Chiefs, and the stream is pretty bad. No audio, choppy, etc. Fine for when Darryl Smart was streaming on his own for free via YouTube, but not for $50/month…
@flosports Very disappointed in the stream quality so far for @MajorSeriesLax, North Stars at Chiefs. No audio, stream is very choppy, and getting a “Technical difficulties” screen repeatedly. This stuff was fine with it was free, but not for $50/month.
@LeafsandJays97@vlad001@JacobPacheco6 They’re as much the “Toronto Rock” as they would be the “Toronto Firewolves”. One franchise just isn’t delusional about their location. 🤷♂️
There’s a reason the players don’t ever say “Toronto”, and instead say “Rock City”.
@spencerhttr@AdamLeviLAX I don’t think anybody in Halifax would be against having an 88 banner in Rochester. Halifax would want one too, of course. But if there could be only 1, I guess you guys deserve it…
Hope to see him back next year but I think he takes offence coordinator position with HFX.
@MichaelLaFave@HFXThunderbirds@TorontoRockLax Nothing fraudulent about them. They earned their way into playoffs, and into finals. I get it hurts to see your team move, and nobody in Halifax has anything against Rochester. We cheer on our team, regardless of how we got it, because we love the game. Let’s all get along ❤️🩹
@MichaelLaFave@HFXThunderbirds@TorontoRockLax Oh fuck right off, franchises move. The records always move with a franchise. It’s a business at the end of the day, and Styres made the decision to try and make the business profitable. Nobody in Halifax thinks they have championships. The banners are in the ILA, not Halifax.
@dbrock17 I get why he didn’t! Didn’t want to lose a timeout so early in the third. Kirst is an animal. Two teams are evenly matched - a call/bounce or two going the other way and this could have just as easily been Halifax’s win.
@GraemePerrow@HFXThunderbirds We’ve been to Oshawa and Ottawa for Halifax’s back to back over there early this year. Ottawa is a fun time - their production value is great since they work with the Sens. Oshawa is loud and their in arena personality is great! Welcome to Halifax!!
@OTCB_Podcast@PGreggy@TeddyJenner@NLL Question: Any word on Hoggarth? His return could hugely affect Halifax's chances at playoffs.
Hot take: If Halifax makes playoffs, they end up in the NLL finals. They almost certainly need to win 5 of 7 to make the bottom 4. If they peak at the right time, they'll be dangerous.
