Pupils will also undertake a one off lesson in their Literacy, Social Subject Skills or Guidance period.
S4-6 will be visited by a female engineer and male administrator from Score in assembly, specifically arguing gender stereotypes in the workplace.

Equalities week- Gender Equalities W/C 25th February
Next week the academy will be having an Equalities Week specifically Gender Equalities. S1-3 will be having a short assembly from members of the schools Employer Engagement Team, detailing the aims of the week.

It is targeted primarily at parents but also employers who want to come and understand more about the 3 types of apprenticeships and pathways.
Steve Petrie, Chair of DYWNE, will open and then short presentations from 3 apprentices from each of Foundation, Modern and Graduate.

The event is on Wednesday the 6th March and is being held at the Chamber office from 5.30 – 8pm.
