Spoke with 3 former NHL heavyweight fighters regarding the Forbort / Trencin incident that ultimately lead to Forbs breaking his orbital bone and they all reiterated the same message. it’s an unwritten rule (we all know in hockey, fighter or not) you don’t hit a guy when he’s on the ice on his back. Forbort does tag Trencin’s chin while he’s on a knee but the difference is, Trencin is trying to regain his balance and continue to fight. By the time Forbort is on his back and the linesman is stepping in, the fight is OVER. Greasy greasy move from the Russian. I would expect suspension incoming + a fine. To all you dipshits on this app that think otherwise - you’re still morons.
