In the world of the swinging dick, life can be hard, harder than you can ever imagine.
So as you sit in your student accommodation or just try to think of ideas to make yourself, more interesting and get more attention..think about this...
I'm going to use the phrase , real men here, real men have real jobs, I watched two scaffolders trying to dismantle a scaffolding tower in freezing winter temperatures, 6 floors up on a windy day.
. The guy who dug the hole for the waterboard last Christmas after a leak. Up to his waist in ice cold mud trying to work with freezing heavy metal tools.
The mechanics that struggle to get rid of the smell of diesel after working in a maintenance pit at a bus depot, his finger nails permanently blackened from the work, seldom seeing the sunshine the day has to offer.
The guy risking his life every single day on the back of a family run trawler in The North Sea. Handling huge metal chains on winches that sometimes jam and need fixing as the freezing waves batter the boat.
Living in their own stench in confined spaces, where stews and casseroles fill their bellies, no calorie counting for them.
The trans men, who want us to see them as real men usually give themselves trendy names like Noah, and want to be writers and journalists, or artists, or just making videos for utube and hope to get guest appearances on pointless breakfast shows so they can elomgate yet more attention to themselves. These characters egged on by liberals in the education system that encourage self expression and allow kids to identify as cats. Another set of INSTITUTIONALISED thinkers that's never done a real day's work.
The men I speak of are never challenged for their jobs by women or trans men..
Whilst limp wrist politicians talk about The Northern Powerhouse and sit at boardroom tables thrashing our ideas, the real men are keeping this country going, they're the real powerhouse.
The uncomplaining get up early and get on with it brigade, that would never be invited on a breakfast sofa to talk about how their bill paying life is affecting them, or if they're in touch with their emotions.
The media is responsible for so much damage to society by the drivel they deliver and consider important. They've got their priorities all wrong.
So for me it's hats off and thank you to the real men, the backbone of this country and across the world.
So many congratulations to Joshi @ManchesterMill on this amazing news - a huge vote of confidence in the value of high quality, honest and beautifully-written local journalism. Iโm proud to have subscribed to The Mill from the start - do check it out (non-Mancunians welcome!)
