Peter McDade

Drummer, father, writer, husband--though not necessarily in that order.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@hughhewitt Really? This is your closing argument? The military depends on the re-election of the man who tried to subvert the last election?

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@hughhewitt @washingtonpost @VP And Trump calls for a political enemy to face the firing squad.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@hughhewitt @continetti @mkhammer @AndrewCMcCarthy @michaelgwaltz @ComfortablySmug @DebforNebraska @ScottBaughCA47 "America is a garbage can" is a positive solution?

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@hughhewitt History will not be kind to the GOP enablers who kept giving this guy life. Remember when Hugh said DJT would have to drop out after what he said about Judge Curiel? Or when Hugh said 1/6 was an insurrection? But he wants judges and power, so now DJT is AOK.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@blacklionking73 My band was lucky enough to open for him on a couple of tours, and he was just cool and smart and kind 93% of the time. (I mean, no one is ALL that ALL the time on the road).

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@hughhewitt @VP @bdomenech @DerekMerrin @sarahcbedford @Hillsdale Uh, this the argument from a Pro-Trumper? Not sure you want to fight this battle on that hill.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@DanWilsonMusic Same thing works in novels (ignore that bad sentence, future revisions will correct) and drum fills (eh, it'll get smoother with a few more passes).

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@meganeabbott Mannnn, I love his books.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@JeffCohenwriter I am giddy at that sentence.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@JonahDispatch Um, it's all of the above. Don't overthink it.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@JDVance They are legal immigrants. The town was in need of workers, and they filled that need.

Be that man you claim to be and help solve the related infrastructure issues instead of fear-mongering.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@hughhewitt @ABC @Disney Or, listen to R-DeWine: “It is disappointing that some of the narratives surrounding our city has been skewed by misinformation circulating on social media and further amplified by political rhetoric in the current highly charged presidential election cycle.”

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@joshtpm Best line of the night.

Well, tied with Orban endorsement.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@joshtpm Not me!

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

"I have a concept of a plan."

Um, wut?

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@hughhewitt And his solution was... Elect me, and it magically ends?

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@JonahDispatch We may not agree about many things, but word on this. He's grabbing from his bag of tricks at random.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

I don't know. Citing Victor Orban's endorsement of your candidacy doesn't seem like a brilliant move.

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

@hughhewitt And he answers any questions? Ever?

[Peter McDade @peterjmcdade]

I started this project June 10, 2022. My plan was to finish before the end of summer--I never did say which summer, though. And hey, summer doesn't end until Labor Day, right?
