After writing a bunch of books on military history, I’m thrilled at the publication of this history of the royal family. My wife, Canadian journalist Ann Macmillan and I tell what we call ‘The Real Lives of the Monarchs’ from Alfred the Great to Charles III.
I am overwhelmed by the wonderful things that have been said by so many online today.
Tha day comes when one has to move on - that day for me comes on December 31st. I had no idea of the appreciation of our work on Channel 4News - I am humbled by the comments from so very many.
