Why is the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) dropping bombs on villages inside South Sudan? On Tuesday Aug 6th, the Sudan Air Force dropped 4 bombs and today Wednesday Aug 7th 4 more bombs on the village of Khor Tumbak in Maban County, Upper Nile State killing 3 and injuring scores more.

Sometimes, our international development partners and friends want to move out of Juba to see how things look like. However, for the Dutch, Bor is a special place for them. They are very interested to see how this historical town sees a long-term solution to flooding and water stagnation. Great visit to Bor by the delegation of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday and today, led by Deputy Ambassador to South Sudan Mr. Bouwe-Jan Smeding, interacting with different stakeholders - both government and nongovernmental, with special attention to flood control and climate change resilience in Bor.

I believe @AdokGai can do something about this and many other locations yearning for telecom network signal across South Sudan. The reality here is that Telecom companies find it too costly to install and run telephone towers in remote areas. But again, we are the only country with high telephone tariffs in East Africa and probably in Africa

How a cow is so dear to our hearts. I am sorry that they eat @WaniMichael57's maize and sweet potatoes. It's disheartening that as they seek better security away from their volatile areas of origin, they create insecurity and conflicts to those farming.
We pray for a secure and peaceful South Sudan where cattle can be kept in secure areas away from farmlands as it used to be before 1991.
