"refrain" in music = from Old French refraindre, meaning "to repeat"
"refrain" as in hold back = from Latin refrenare, meaning "to bridle"
same spelling, different origins, zero connection.
@DefiantDevii she’s probably done this for the views. 2 minutes of researching and anyone would know general is not the coach to take.
agree with your point though, this is not how it should be. there’s a reason why over 2 lakh people renounce their indian citizenship each year.
@ProofofMaro we’re not. it’s appearance. there’s no way but forward. what we’re witnessing is a shaky phase which will serve as lessons for the future generations.
@AnandaniNisha i can empathize. ime if you’re gonna tell people about a skill, you’re gonna have to learn to socialise it. learning to divert topics is a skill too. put yourself in control.
@0xCAFEBEEF "the three things proven to stop and partially reverse balding"
the gains don't stick if you stop taking the medication. idk if you're able to empathize, but that doesn't feel like a solution to me.
@bholibucket i’m curious why she’s getting a lot of hate suddenly? i always got a mean, elitist vibe from her but always saw people in the comments cheering
Why do people getting married get off the mandap and do that arms raised in victory thing. Like bro you agreed to an arranged marriage at age 28, you didn’t really have to fight and win anything 😅
you mentioned abrahamic religions’ text are interpreted as being “literally materially true”, and that to me struck a little odd so i ran a quick check.
In Islam (an abrahamic religion), it says Muhammad was met with a literal angel (with 600 wings)!
i am curious to learn what made you say people interpret these as real events that at some point must've occurred on the earth.
@VadimStrizheus haha it's the shape of the mouse for me. doesn't feel comfortable to hold. i can't wrap my palm around it like i can with a normal (taller) mouse.
i'm okay with the charging port situation though. it's something you have to worry about only once a month or so.
there're courses you can undertake that offer you industry-related curriculum.
they won't offer the same value as btech though. you're right to point the syllabus is outdated at times. but part of being in college is just about the exposure to how things/topics evolve under academic environments.
maybe checkout what they're doing at the center of innovation? maybe checkout what your professor from your favorite topic is working on? this could open doors to opportunities a 2-year course wouldn't.
