@bigphil321 I tip when the service is acceptable but if a restaurant or bar had a sign like that I would avoid it.
I'm also inclined not to tip if service is poor and I also ask if the staff receive the tips and not the owner

I thought Spain assumed you revoked your Brit nationality upon attaining Spanish one without needing any evidence. I'm tempted but fear my Spanish isn't adequate, I'm OK most of time until it gets rapid and important

@Trudgin I don't know the way around. It's needed for nationality/citizenship rather than mere residency. Nationality also requires fluency in Spanish, passing a cultural test, several yrs residency and revocation of British Nationality and brings with it a Spanish passport
