The Hidden Cost of Love There is a question I have often wondered about. If we knew beforehand the cost we would one day pay to love someone, would we still choose to open our hearts? If we knew that one day there would be tears, empty chairs, quiet rooms, and memories that ache, would we still embrace the gift of loving and being loved? I believe the answer is clear. Yes. And yes again. For the value of the time we share with those we love cannot be measured. The laughter, the conversations, the comfort, the memories, the lessons, the strength, and the joy they bring into our lives are treasures beyond calculation. No amount of tears can bring back what is lost. There is within every life that hidden cost. Yet love is always worth the price. Though sorrow comes, and though loss leaves its mark upon our hearts, the gift of having loved and having been loved is far greater than the pain of parting. The moments we shared become part of who we are. The lives that touched ours leave an imprint that neither time nor death can erase. So if I were asked whether I would choose to love again, knowing that one day I would grieve, my answer would remain the same. Yes. And yes again. For the time spent with those we love possesses a value beyond comprehension, and the privilege of loving them is worth every tear that follows. Love may carry a hidden cost, but it is still life's greatest treasure. ❤️

I am humbled by the kindness that has already been shown. Every donation, message, and prayer has been a tremendous encouragement to me. As many of you know, after more than 35 years, I lost the remaining teeth that supported my upper bridge and now wear a full upper denture. While I am grateful to have a temporary solution, it has been much more difficult than I expected, particularly with eating and speaking. The goal remains to obtain a full upper implant-supported restoration, which would allow me to regain much of the function and stability that I have lost. We still have a long way to go, but thanks to your generosity, progress is being made. For those who have already given, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
