My observations of the 20mph experiment in Wales after a couple of days:
- You look at the speed dial more than is ideal as sticking to 20 is not natural (will likely cause accidents).
- Cars are not designed to travel at 20mph. Second gear is too low & third is too high (will likely cause pollution).
- Tailgating has increased (will likely cause accidents).
- 30mph vs 20mph areas are not consistent or obvious (will likely generate revenue).
- Many like the idea of 20mph outside their house but not elsewhere in Wales!
