A new report finds Ontario's nuclear-heavy electricity strategy could cost $117B-$300B more than a renewable energy alternative: https://t.co/2YxyWlDbHe
Worth asking: why are we choosing the higher-cost option?

Autonomous vehicles will be our servants, not our overlords. You just have to look one step further than Robo taxis, and see where this is going.
Taas will be connected and intelligent, dynamically, responding to demand, and will decrease congestion.
There will be autonomous cars, transport trucks, shuttles / mini buses, and buses. As they are also electric and zero emission, they can also operate in cost effective underground tunnels.
Currently, we have fixed size buses on fixed routes, that aren’t in any way intelligent or responsive. There are times that big bus might only a few people on it.
Once we have intelligent connected vehicles that can be stationed anywhere without drivers, we simply let them connect to a central scheduling system, and respond as needed.
Toronto chose renewables.
So why are Ontario & Ottawa still betting on expensive nuclear?
It’s time for Carney & Ford to support solar, wind, & storage.

Will Mark Carney protect Ontario from rising electricity bills?
A $230B nuclear proposal is moving forward—while cheaper wind, solar + storage are ignored.

You’re not spending your money, Doug.
You’re spending ours.
And if Ontarians are paying for these ads, we have every right to know the price tag.
Stop hiding it.

FLOOD THE ZONE: Critics in Ontario say a flurry of government announcements on justice, alcohol and roads is designed to distract from sweeping changes the Ford government is planning to apply to FOI laws.

Homelessness is at an all-time high. Virtually no new homes & condos are being built. A record number of Ontarians are unemployed. Two million Ontarians don’t have a family doctor. Youth unemployment is at a record high.
Doug Ford: ‘Best I can do is BYOB in parks.’
Doug Ford calling people ‘enemies’ for seeking transparency is a massive red flag.
Ontarians asking questions about their government aren’t enemies, they’re citizens.
They want us to look at this today so we're not looking at:
- FOI legislation changes
- school board takeover disasters
- OSAP
- jobs numbers
- Science Centre
- Convention Centre Island
- Therme spa
- ongoing Greenbelt RCMP investigation
- SDF
- etc.
Mess everywhere. #onpoli
