I would add one thing to Zoe Daniel’s v good points: Dutton keeps saying that we are the only G20 country without nuclear power - as though that is a compelling reason to get it. These other countries don’t have the renewable resources that we enjoy. Most would envy our position.

I was very sad to hear of the recent and unexpected death of Prof Philip White of the James Hutton Institute in Dundee Scotland. Philip has been a highly productive, highly cited and highly respected researcher in plant nutrition for many years. Vale Philip.
