@jessicaeaton I know you don’t like Toronto. But man. I REALLY don’t like Manhattan anymore either. It feels like a theme park where a great city used to be. Toronto obviously still feels worse than that. Just in a very different way. LIKE NYC, they were both much better twenty years ago.

I think a foundational difference between Gen Xers and Millennials/Gen Zs is that the idea of being "an influencer" seems inherently humiliating to anyone born before 1980.

@ashleylynch My father in law literally died for it. He was unvaccinated and died of COVID. Wouldn’t even go to the hospital when he got sick because he didn’t “believe” in COVID. So there’s that.
