@cl_0ud1 @_minustempo @lazerknighta Nah, for scrims (with a bit of help) I took data from screenshots pulled from stream vods. Was a painful task though so wouldn’t recommend it unless you have the time and patience spare.

@_minustempo @lazerknighta An example was GO towards the 4th/5th week of scrims, I had them in 38th with an expected points of around 3 with their last 10 game average being around 3.6. They had a 16 kill win, which, because of the exponential nature of the formula, ended up putting them 19th.

@_minustempo @lazerknighta Yeah, for the better teams I got to a point I was happy with. The problem I just didn’t have enough data for though was when a consistently poor performing team suddenly has a high point game, AP/EP ratio meant ELO gain was astronomical and needed capping.

@_minustempo @lazerknighta i tried something similar during Champs scrims and although it worked to an extent, it had extreme recency bias, and some teams like DZ and TSM sometimes ended up with an "Expected Points" of well over what would be feasible.

@_minustempo Are you taking points variance into account here? It’s the only thing thing I can think as to why SNG would be top with 5.9 PPG (4.1 sd) over TSM (12 PPG, 7.2 sd) and SEN (8.75 PPG, 7.4 PPG)
