@JamesEhnes @rainatheperson Hi James, is this string combination still favourable on your Strad? If yes, i wonder what effect does heavy gauge E vs. normal does to your Strad? Would you ever consider using normal E if recording on close mics? Info: same setup works very well with my modern strad copy too.
