A 5 year old German Shepherd who was shot and killed in the line of duty while assisting officers during a domestic violence call.
Two officers were also injured during the incident. Please keep these officers, their families, and Corporal Walsh, who lost his loyal partner and friend, in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest easy, K9 Knight. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and bravery will live on forever. 🙏💙
@PeterVecsey1 That’s a great line & description. So well said. On the other end. You can’t possibly make 2 more incredible plays the OG made in the final 14 seconds.
The husband went to a shelter with his wife, and they had no intention of adopting a dog that day. However, the eyes of a large dog seemed to “hold him back.” The dog stood quietly, shy and timid, as if silently pleading: “Please don’t leave me behind…” 💔
That look was enough to make the man unable to walk away. He changed his mind and decided to adopt the dog right there.
Once they got home, the dog—who had been fearful and withdrawn—gradually “transformed” into a joyful, affectionate, and deeply bonded member of the family. Today, he has truly found his forever home and lives happily, no longer afraid 💗✨
A tired-looking dog wanders into a guy's yard. The man examined the dog's collar, feels his well-fed belly and knows the dog has a home. The dog follows him into the house, gets comfortable on the couch and falls asleep...
The man thinks its rather odd, but lets him sleep.
After about an hour the dog wakes up, walks to the door and the guy lets him out.
The dog wags his tail and leaves.
The next day the dog comes back and scratches at the door.
The guy opens the door, the dog comes in, goes down the hall, jumps on the couch, gets comfortable and falls asleep again.
The man lets him sleep.
After about an hour the dog wakes up, walks to the door and the guy lets him out.
The dog wags his tail and leaves.
This goes on for days.
The guy grows really curious, so he pins a note on the dog's collar:
"Your dog has been taking a nap at my house every day."
The next day the dog arrives with another note pinned to his collar:
"He lives in a home with four children... He's trying to catch up on his sleep.
Can I come with him tomorrow?'
@PeterVecsey1 I thought similar late in the game. As the vet in that lineup they should’ve held on. But so many 3s with double digit lead! I’ll never understand that philosophy. You’re supposed to attack and then get stops. Same if you’re the trailing team.
