The document that should guide a buyer is called a COR issued by @KEBS_ke or its agents.
At the moment QISJ is the agent in play and is not in all countries so the QISJ site may not verify all vehicles imported into Kenya.
If QISJ site does not yield results ask for the COR and submit it to KEBS via [email protected] and they will confirm it for you.
In case the vehicle was shipped without COR or comes from a country without an agent it will have an inspection done at the point of entry using KS 1515 as the reference standard.
