@MaximeTruman CDN MLS Academies are largely dependant on the high performance youth leagues that feed them. The declining standards of those leagues from over-expansion is equally as concerning.
“Let the conglomerates buy up mom & pop stations” they said.
“It will be good for the industry” they said.
“Sharing resources is more streamlined and efficient” they said.
Will the CRTC now allow a private entity to buy a radio license and run it? 🤷♂️
@PeteSchaad As per usual people still underestimate the Swiss even after getting throttled.
Maybe 1 in 10 times do Canada get a result a vastly better Swiss team in pretty much every area of the pitch.
I’m in the bitterness stage of grief.
The big opportunity was blown against Switzerland (an inferior opponent to Morocco IMHO).
That 1st 15 minutes of 2nd half, on home soil, changed Canada’s course. We might be talking about Colombia at home Tuesday.
@StuckontheSofa It used to frustrate the hell out of us. The mix was wrong somewhere, not at the stadium…somewhere along the chain.
Could it be your sound set-up? I’ve noticed a huge difference with a couple of adjustments on our surround sound settings.
@zavediuk It’s not about hydration when playing in an air conditioned stadium 🤣. I’ve seen pundits suggest strict rules preventing coaches from being involved. It’s here to stay so evolution will be necessary.
@wastedsundays Awesome Adam. There’s a cable well (if that’s what you call it) right next to my desk at the very top. I marvel at how perfect it looks. Then there’s 3 wires to every desk in our area all with neatly typed out destination stickers. This is just one venue!
The logistics for Vancouver alone is mind boggling. You don’t think about these things when you watch a World Cup on TV. I’d love to know how many miles of cable is being used just in this stadium.
