Day-135
RED COVE 🩸🐳🩸
BLACK COVE 🖤🐳🖤
#ShortFinnedPilotWhales
The estimated 20 Short-finned Pilot Whales that were driven into the Cove for 4 hours yesterday were checked over by trainers from the Taiji Whale Museum, who arrived in there with hunters this morning. But no captives were taken today, and the trainers soon went back empty-handed.
The hunters spread yellow tarpaulins to prevent the sea from turning to red from the bleeding of the large Short-finned Pilot whales, but the water quickly turned red.
4 whales were killed during Live, from 7 AM to 11 AM, and taken to the slaughterhouse at the harbor.
The victims that Kunito witnessed later at Takababe are listed below.
2 bodies taken to slaughterhouse at 12:15 PM
1 body, at 1:18 PM
1 body, at 1:44 PM
2 bodies, at 2:08 PM
2 bodies, at 3:45 PM
This means that hunters killed 12 Short-finned Pinot Whales over a nine-hour period, starting at 7 AM. Did the hunters take the time to torment and kill them, or did it take time because they were large?
On the way, they took a skiff to a sunny spot to have lunch.
Remaining 10 whales that had been separated into nets in this morning, and whose families had been killed before their eyes, they would once again be kept in the cove tonight, hungry, dehydrated and scared.
Japan has no laws to protect dolphins and whales.
Other marine mammals are generally protected under the Wildlife Protection and Management Act by the Ministry of the Environment, along with many terrestrial mammals.
Japanese people should realize as soon as possible that this should not be tolerated. And speak up for dolphins and whales. Silence is complicity.
