@eliasmakos Most listeners don’t remember that it was the Mulroney Conservatives who raised the capital gains inclusion rate to 75% in 1990, and it was the Chrétien Liberals who lowered it back to 50% in 2000. #CapitalGainsTax

@eliasmakos It seems you and your panel misunderstand the new tax rules. It is not 66 2/3% tax rate, but it’s the inclusion rate. It’s how much of the gain is added to your income. Far cry from more than $1 of every $2 gain.
