Carlo Ancelotti dropped Joao Pedro from the Brazil squad ahead of the World Cup.
I was wondering the need for coaches to advice their national team players to play more at their clubs to have a chance to be selected in the national team even if it means them going on loan so they can play week in week out and also contribute to the success of their clubs.
I remember Ancelotti said this to Endrick while at Madrid when he wasn’t playing that he has to play more to have a chance which eventually gave Endrick the chance to go to Lyon on loan and he was heavily involved every week at Lyon where he made his mark and now the reward is a World Cup call up.
If JP dropped those numbers all season being at his best, what else does he have to do to get a call up if people like martineli, Henrique, Endrick, Cunha and Rayan got a call up while producing less numbers?
I have been pondering, so I checked their stats this season:
• João Pedro — 26 G/A
• Luis Henrique — 3 G/A
• Rayan — 7 G/A
• Cunha — 12 G/A
• Martinelli — 17 G/A
Joao Pedro has more goal contributions than Cunha and Henrique combined
So after the season he had, he still doesn’t get called up? That feels harsh. People always say hard work pays, but what more was he supposed to do? If not politics and football favoritism at play, I don’t know what else.
He’s already 24, and sadly by the next World Cup he’ll be around 28/29.
I still feel someone will get injured at the dying minute for JP to be called up as the replacement. Unless God of Justice and vengeance is no longer in existence cuz no attacker deserves the World Cup spot more than Joao Pedro in that squad.
Joao Pedro has worked so hard to be at this year’s Word cup and he solely deserves to be there and he will go to World Cup by hook or at the detriment of someone getting injured.
JP is already a world Champion and going to World Cup will give him a chance to make him a double World champion

‼️ UPDATE: Despite reports linking Chelsea with Andrea Cambiaso this week, there have been no talks between the two clubs so far.
The Juventus full-back has been mentioned as a potential target, but at this stage, no negotiations are taking place.
As things stand, the stories remain speculation rather than an active transfer pursuit. 👀
Transfer window season in full effect. ⏳🔵
👉 Chelsea fans: Would you still like the club to move for Cambiaso?

IVORY COAST - The Elephants
The Ivory Coast national team, known as the Elephants, head into the 2026 FIFA World Cup as one of Africa’s strongest contenders following their remarkable triumph at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Playing on home soil, the Ivorians recovered from a difficult group stage to win the tournament, showcasing their resilience, talent, and winning mentality.
Managed by Emerse Faé, Ivory Coast possess a balanced squad blending experience and youth. Key players include Sébastien Haller, Simon Adingra, Franck Kessié, and Odilon Kossounou. Their squad features quality across all areas of the pitch, with a strong defensive foundation and dangerous attacking options.

Their squad features quality across all areas of the pitch, with a strong defensive foundation and dangerous attacking options.
KEY PLAYER:
- Nicolas Pépé - Villarreal
- Franck Kessie - Al- Ahli
- Simon Adingra - Monaco
- yan Diomandé - Lipzeig
- Amad Diallo - Manchester United
However, Ivory Coast arrive at the World Cup as one of Africa’s most complete teams. Reaching the knockout rounds is a realistic expectation, and if their key players perform at their best, the Elephants have the quality to challenge some of the tournament’s traditional heavyweights and potentially emerge as Africa’s surprise package. Ivory Coast , Morocco and Senegal are the hope of Africa in this tournament if we there is hope to break the record as the only African team to have lifted the World Cup.
What kind of club when they qualify for Champions League and need improvements goes out and spends nearly £100m on Jamie Gittens & Alejandro Garnacho?
SOUTH AFRICA - Bafana Bafana
The South Africa national football team, known as Bafana Bafana, head into the 2026 FIFA World Cup with renewed optimism after qualifying for their first World Cup since hosting the tournament in 2010. Under coach Hugo Broos, the team has developed a clear identity built on discipline, teamwork, and defensive organization
Key players include captain Ronwen Williams, midfielder Teboho Mokoena, striker Lyle Foster, and winger Oswin Appollis. Much of the squad comes from successful domestic clubs such as Mamelodi Sundowns FC and Orlando Pirates FC, giving the team strong chemistry and familiarity.
South Africa have been drawn in a challenging group alongside Mexico, Czechia, and South Korea. Progressing to the knockout rounds will require disciplined defending and efficient finishing in front of goal.
KEY PLAYERS:
- Ronwen Williams - Mamelodi Sundowns
- Teboho Mokoena - Memelodi Sundowns
- Lyle Foster - Burnley
- Oswin Appollis - Orlando Pirates
- Khuliso Mudau - Memelodi Sundowns
However, they are not considered among the tournament favorites, South Africa have earned respect for their organization and resilience. Many observers view them as a potential dark horse capable of causing surprises if they maintain the form that secured qualification.
In addition, they are more or less going to to the World Cup for vacation, relaxation, site seeing or possibly visitation because they are not good at anything rather than being Zenophobic and chasing people out of their country for doing the job they failed to do. It Might as well be their last time out of their country after they chase other nationals away from theirs cuz no one will wanna habor their lazy ass or tolerate their xenophobic attitude.
If UCL is won by dark art football,
Jumping up and down,
Not sitting down from start of the match to finish,
By defending with 10 men,
By dancing and displaying all sort of shenanigans,
Or even by Setpiece,
Then Diego Simeone should have won more than 2 UCL by now because he has done all of these while playing his evil football With the likes of gabi, Diego Godin Miranda, etc.
With all these defenders and their set-piece threats and parking buses, Diego Simeone didnt win the UCL.
How dare Arteta think he can win UCL with 25% ball possession and parking of buses for 120mins of football?😂😂
He will suffer for 100 years more if he keeps playing this his calamity and setpiece ufc football
