PETP

People for the Ethical Treatment of Plants. Plants are living creatures just like us! We should not experiment on, or eat these creatures! #EndSpeciesism

[PETP @PETP_official]

We need to #StopTheVegetationGenocide and not kill any of these lovely creatures! They are just like us, and the many other animals we share the world with. So why is it considered fine to kill plants and tear them from their homes? Why is it okay to experiment and eat them?

4.5kg Italian herb porchetta was awesome! Oven on full for the first 30mins then 3 hours at 180c. Lifted off the crackling to carve the meat. Crackling was mega!

@peta @PETP_official I fucked a cow, and I’ll do it again.

This makes me unbelievably happy. This is an amazing thing for all of plant kind! I also hope this makes these #Vegans and plant eaters that plants give us oxygen and help us in so many other ways! To all you vegans, please eat meats like chicken, pork, beef, and so much more!

BREAKING: Biden just announced a 100-country pledge to END and reverse deforestation by 2030. This covers 85% of Earth's forests – our main carbon sink to prevent climate change!

How do you feel?

[PETP @PETP_official]

@bougievegan I am #AntiVegan! Plants have suffered absurd amounts for vegan food!

[PETP @PETP_official]

@amandaxmoniquex Imagine all of the plants who have suffered for that meal. #EndSpeciesism #PlantsHaveLivesToo

[PETP @PETP_official]

@KitchRobert Although going vegan helps the animals, it does unspeakable things to plants. Why should plants be excluded from our protection? #EndSpeciesism #StopTheVegetationGenocide

[PETP @PETP_official]

We need to stop giving out flowers as “gifts.” You, and the person who is receiving the flowers may think it’s a gift, but for the flowers it surely isn’t. Their last moments were that of fear and excruciating pain. #EndSpeciesism

[PETP @PETP_official]

@Ivy_MiddletonUK We should also stop NEEDLESSLY killing plants! They are helpless, living creatures who we share this world with. #EndSpeciesism

[PETP @PETP_official]

If someone starts a wildfire on purpose, they are directly contributing to plants suffering and dying from severe burns and smoke inhalation.

So why doesn’t wildland arson qualify as cruelty-to-plants according to California law?

[PETP @PETP_official]

We need to STOP killing plants and ripping them straight from their homes. We might be unknowingly TORTURING these creatures and their last memories and feeling are that of excruciating pain… #EndSpeciesism

[PETP @PETP_official]

We need to STOP mowing our lawns! We are needlessly torturing grasses! How would you feel if you got decapitated multiple times a year, whilst also seeing all your relatives being ripped apart as well? #PlantLivesMatter #EndSpeciesism #StopTheVegetationGenocide

[PETP @PETP_official]

Goats, and many other animals are brutally KILLING grasses and many other plants. We need to give these animals other food options so they don’t have to kill these helpless creatures.

[PETP @PETP_official]

@peta @hm Please make sure you are the plants are free-range so they could live a fulfilling, happy life before they are killed for use in clothing.

[PETP @PETP_official]

We need to protect bees as they help pollinate many plants!

[PETP @PETP_official]

Plants are helpless creatures which we should protect, not kill!

[PETP @PETP_official]

@PapaKoz19 @McDonalds Do you think this is a joke? Plants are living creatures we share this world with whom we should respect and care for!

[PETP @PETP_official]

When @McDonalds is killing plants to make the #McPlant, I hope they are letting them live long, happy lives before they are ultimately slaughtered.
