Without Washington constantly tying Israel’s hands, Israel could determine her own borders, assert sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, deal with Gaza on her own terms, pursue victory in her wars, and exercise full sovereignty over the Temple Mount.

You can attribute “they are commanded but lack the power to enforce it, or would enforce it if given the opportunity” to virtually any individual or group on earth. That doesn’t prove one group is more diabolical or insidious than another.

If your argument rests on a hypothetical power they do not possess, you haven’t established the claim—you’ve assumed it.

You’re treating an ancient Talmudic discussion of capital offenses as if it were a modern Jewish criminal code that Jews are commanded to enforce today.

But the Talmud itself records that 40 years before the destruction of the Second Temple, the Sanhedrin stopped judging capital cases (Sanhedrin 41a). Once the Sanhedrin left the Chamber of Hewn Stone, its authority to impose the death penalty ended.

Genesis 49:10 declares:

“The scepter shall not depart from Judah… until Shiloh comes.”

The scepter of judicial authority departed. And in the Messianic reading of the passage, Shiloh has come.

That is why modern Jewish courts do not—and do not possess the ancient judicial authority to—execute anyone for idolatry, adultery, or other classical capital offenses. The required judicial authority no longer exists.

So when you wave at “the Talmud” and claim it “demands you be killed,” you’re collapsing ancient Jewish legal discussions into a present-day command.

It isn’t.

The Temple is gone.
The Sanhedrin’s capital jurisdiction is gone.
And Shiloh has come.
That distinction is decisive.
