🔥 Elite Russian units are abandoning their positions and retreating, even though not a single direct shot was fired at them. How is that even possible?
The focus is the Kinburn Spit — a critically important strategic corridor northwest of Crimea in the Black Sea. To understand its significance: for Ukraine, control of the spit is as crucial as control of New Orleans on the Mississippi River is for the United States. Whoever controls the spit controls commercial and military shipping at the mouth of the Dnipro River and gains either a staging area for a potential push toward Odesa or an ideal launching point for operations against Crimea.
And now, some of Russia’s most elite and highly trained forces are reportedly being forced to withdraw from the area. Not because of amphibious landings or frontal assaults, but because Ukraine has demonstrated a brilliant proof of concept for modern warfare. Why spill blood in direct battles when logistics can simply be cut off? Strikes conducted from dozens and even hundreds of kilometers away have reportedly deprived the grouping on the spit of food, fuel, and ammunition. The position has become physically unsustainable, leaving the soldiers with little choice but to leave.
What is most remarkable is how this information emerged. It was first reported by Atesh, a pro-Ukrainian partisan movement in Crimea that claims to be deeply embedded within Russia’s military system. These individuals reportedly risk their lives every day to pass along such information. And while official explanations describe the move as a “planned rotation,” the reality may look different. Pulling elite troops from an isolated piece of territory and replacing them with inexperienced personnel is difficult to view as a routine rotation. It appears more like an attempt to maintain the appearance of control where actual control has already been weakened.
But Kinburn may be only the beginning. The commander of Ukraine’s drone forces has openly and boldly stated that Crimea could be completely cut off within a month.
Supporters of this view point to several developments: land routes have reportedly been disrupted, the Crimean Bridge has allegedly suffered damage that limits heavy commercial traffic, and supplies are increasingly dependent on temporary solutions. Freight deliveries to the peninsula are said to have fallen sharply, while shortages of food and fuel are reportedly beginning to emerge. Ukraine has also reportedly struck facilities in the port of Mariupol. The logistical pressure is increasing from multiple directions: roads, railways, and maritime routes are all under strain, while air resupply in areas covered by air defenses is considered extremely risky. The objective, according to this interpretation, is to make the deployment of Russian forces in Crimea as difficult as it has become on the Kinburn Spit, encouraging a withdrawal without direct confrontation.
Why is this happening now? Persistent rumors suggest that Russia may conduct a large-scale mobilization campaign later this year. From this perspective, Ukraine may see a window of opportunity to inflict maximum damage before additional personnel arrive at the front.
Observers have also noted a change in tone. Ukrainian officials and military commanders, who are often relatively cautious in their public statements, have recently displayed an unusual degree of confidence and have become increasingly outspoken about future operations.
If Ukraine succeeds in securing the Dnipro estuary, supporters argue that the result would go beyond a military victory. It could help reopen trade routes from Kherson and other upstream cities, establish a buffer zone, and potentially enable commercial shipping operations even during wartime, similar to what was achieved with the grain corridor from Odesa.
The rules of the game may be changing. Success increasingly depends not on mass assaults, but on the ability to disrupt and control logistics.
Had a chat with a friend in the military about Crimea. He thinks the public and most militaries do not yet fully grasp the enormous significance of what Ukraine did. Putting an entire region the size of Massachusetts under a blockade, without a navy or ground force, but drones.
The real reason Russia is pushing the Ukraine biolab narrative is more serious than the propaganda suggests. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗶 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀. As the old saying goes, accuse your opponent of what you are doing yourself.
Russia claims Ukraine and the United States operated secret biological weapons labs in Ukraine. That claim has not been substantiated. The UN has said it is not aware of any biological weapons programme in Ukraine, and Ukraine has repeatedly denied developing, producing, or stockpiling biological weapons.
Ukraine’s facilities are publicly described as public health, disease surveillance, biosafety, biosecurity, and threat-reduction labs. Ukraine says it complies with the Biological Weapons Convention and rejects the claim that these sites were military bioweapons facilities.
Russia’s position is the opposite.
Russia accuses Ukraine of hidden biological weapons activity while keeping its own military biological infrastructure secretive and largely inaccessible to meaningful international scrutiny.
Russia inherited the Soviet biological weapons legacy. The Soviet Union operated one of the largest and most secretive biological weapons programmes in history. After its collapse, serious questions remained about how much of that infrastructure, expertise, and military research culture survived inside Russia.
Those concerns remain unresolved.
The U.S. State Department has assessed that Russia maintains an offensive biological weapons programme in violation of the Biological Weapons Convention. Russia denies this, but its relevant military biological facilities remain closed, opaque, and shielded from independent verification.
Ukraine’s labs are discussed as public health and disease surveillance facilities.
Russia’s military biological sites are treated as restricted state secrets.
Ukraine’s cooperation with the United States was linked to biosafety, biosecurity, and reducing risks from dangerous pathogens inherited from the Soviet period.
Russia, by contrast, has a documented Soviet bioweapons legacy, current official compliance concerns, and restricted military facilities that outside observers cannot meaningfully inspect.
In 2024, satellite imagery and expert analysis reported major construction and expansion at Sergiev Posad-6, a restricted Russian Ministry of Defence biological research site with a Soviet-era bioweapons history. The reported construction began in May 2022, shortly after Russia’s full-scale invasion and during the same period when Moscow intensified its claims about Ukrainian “biolabs.”
That timing does not prove the new construction is an offensive biological weapons programme. But it does make Russia’s propaganda campaign look highly suspect.
Russia demanded outrage over Ukrainian public health laboratories while expanding or upgrading its own secretive military-linked biological research infrastructure.
The strongest factual argument is not that every Russian biological activity is illegal. It is that Russia has no credibility accusing Ukraine of hidden bioweapons activity while refusing transparency over its own military biological facilities.
This is classic projection and deflection.
Russia turns Ukrainian public health and threat-reduction work into a fake Western bioweapons plot.
It shifts attention away from its own closed military biological sites.
It muddies the waters around biological weapons compliance.
Ukraine denies the allegations, points to peaceful public health work, and says it complies with international obligations.
Russia has a Soviet bioweapons legacy, U.S.-assessed BWC violations, secretive military biological facilities, and refuses the transparency it demands from others.
So when Russia talks about Ukrainian “biolabs,” the relevant question is why a country with closed military biological sites is trying so hard to redirect attention onto Ukraine’s public health laboratories.
Gabbard’s team reportedly used Russian GRU-linked biolab documents, added the ODNI logo, and presented them as official U.S. intelligence materials, according to journalist Laura Loomer.
Reminder, nobody with more than one brain cell is ever going to support Russia…
If you want to measure the impact of a European leader, look at how much energy foreign adversaries spend trying to destroy their reputation.
The constant stream of pro-Russian and pro-China propaganda aimed at @kajakallas proves she is a formidable opponent to them, and while the exact powers of the EU High Representative position can potentially be reformed, Kallas has the ideal mindset to confront hostile autocrats.
European capitals have every right to analyze and potentially adjust the bureaucratic mandate of the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. Rethinking how the bloc coordinates its external actions is a standard part of institutional evolution, but any systemic flaws in the office cannot be blamed on Kallas.
The concentrated hostility directed at her from state media ecosystems in Russia and China (and some other enemies too) is an involuntary admission that her strategic clarity poses a major problem for them. Their fixation on Kallas confirms her status as a high-stakes obstacle.
She has a profound understanding of the psychological games autocrats play, and she refuses to grant them the passive diplomatic concessions they crave. Her clear, unyielding communication style helps insulate the European Union from the gaslighting tactics that hostile regimes use to manipulate Western policy.
The narrative attacks against her should therefore be viewed as validation of her approach. Discussions about reforming European diplomacy are healthy, but Kallas herself is not the issue, as her defiant attitude is exactly what is needed to face down modern authoritarian threats
John Kiriakou is a textbook traitor and an active Russian asset who lies for a living.
He literally works for Sputnik, a Russian state-owned media.
After destroying his career and landing in federal prison, this ex-CIA analyst now uses his background to whitewash Russian terror. Because of his former insider status at the CIA, Moscow views him as a highly valuable tool, paying him to run interference for an authoritarian regime.
He chose to completely sell out his country rather than accept accountability, trading whatever integrity he had left for a paycheck from Vladimir Putin's official propaganda machine.
No one should give this man a single ounce of attention or credibility. He is a compromised liar whose entire job is to distort the truth and shield state-sponsored terror, making him a complete disgrace who shouldn't be listened to by anyone with half a brain

🇬🇧🇨🇳🇷🇺 CHINA IS THE BACKBONE OF PUTIN’S WAR
“Without China, Russia would have lost the war in Ukraine. North Korean troops and Iranian drones grab headlines, but what keeps Putin in Ukraine is China: chemicals for artillery shells, components for drones and missiles.” - Richard Moore 🇬🇧
Beijing may avoid the front line, but its support helps sustain Russia’s ability to keep fighting. The war is not being prolonged by Moscow alone.
Ukraine wants to build a single AI system for the entire 1,200-km front.
It would analyze drone feeds and battlefield data, then recommend actions across the chain of command. Ukraine's defence AI chief Danylo Tsvok says "AI will form a new paradigm of warfare", Reuters. 1/
It is one thing to be wrong, but it is another to be a traitor.
The Western voices defending the Kremlin are effectively siding against their own neighbors and their own future.
When this war is over, their names will be synonymous with treason for generations
🔴 L'OCCIDENTE DORME MENTRE I CRISTIANI VENGONO MASSACRATI.
E a quel punto, cosa faremo?

This is heavy but important.
An Israeli combat medic named Daniel Elbo Arama shares what he saw treating a young woman right after the October 7 attacks.
She was barely clothed, covered in blood, and begged him for help.
In the ambulance she told him she had been raped by four terrorists. The bleeding was so bad they had to use medications normally given for gunshot wounds. She needed hours of surgery afterward.
Daniel has worked in emergency response for twenty years, including in conflict zones, but he says this day will stay with him forever.
Raw testimony like this shows exactly what happened that day.
We can’t forget.
