Lots of people ask me about mentorship, and while I don’t have the capacity to mentor everyone, I can share a few practices that have helped me improve my own performance.
One of them is training myself to think logically under pressure. I deliberately elevate my heart rate through cardio—stationary cycling, treadmill work, etc.—while simultaneously playing chess. The objective is simple: force myself to make rational decisions while under physical stress and in a competitive scenario.
In business, sport, and life, the quality of your decisions often matters most when you’re tired, pressured, emotional, or uncomfortable. Like any skill, remaining calm and thinking clearly under stress can be trained.
Caveat: this is something I made up on my own, no study I am aware of that recommended this…

@mannishwaata Wow, I’ve never missed anything, thank God it doesn’t even seem like they open it because it’s never different from how I did it. But then again I may not have anything they want. So sorry you had this experience, is there any redress?
Sometimes, in order to get us adequately prepared for the moments to come, God may not allow us to return to the way things used to be, the place where we could easily become lulled into complacency. #ElijahBibleStudy
