FFVII 1997 vs FFVII Remake Series
My Opinion… it doesn’t matter, I like both for what they are on their own.

It’s not something I talk about because it feels like no mater what you say you piss someone off, so I’ll just be honest. I like them both and that’s my answers.

If you love them or hate them, that’s 100% your right, and me or anyone else has no right to tell you that you are wrong.

But if I’m not voicing the toilet guy in FFVII Revelation, I will be pissed.

A Message to
@SquareEnix and @nhamaguc

I believe some roles find us at exactly the right moment.

For me, that role is the man sitting on the toilet in Rocket Town,
the one who tells Cloud, “I’m in here!” when he knocks on the
door in the 1997 release of Final fantasy VII.

I know this isn’t the biggest role in Final Fantasy VII Revelation,
and I know this is an incredibly big ask, but I genuinely believe this
is the role, I was born to play. I understand this character.
I understand the importance of the moment, and I know I can
deliver those three, words with the emotion, urgency and authenticity
they deserve. Give me the opportunity, and I promise
I will nail this role.

Final Fantasy has meant so much to me for so many years.
The thought that one day my kids, and perhaps even their kids,
could play one of my favourite games and hear me immortalised
as the man behind that bathroom door would genuinely mean the
world to me.

Sometimes the internet can make wonderful and completely ridiculous
things happen, so I’m putting this out into the universe.

So, Square Enix, Naoki Hamaguchi.

Please let me be the toilet guy in Rocket Town.

I am ready to deliver the performance of a lifetime.

ShaneO is coming to NoPixel V 🙌🏼

NoPixel changed my life. It helped me get through lockdown, it allowed me to continue to build an incredible community, allowed me to be creative and build storylines that lasted years.

These last 2 years I have switched focus to the business I run in real life (Not Hayes or the drift school) and haven't put much time into my own content creation.

I am genuinely so stoked to be on the list for NoPixel V. I am grateful for the opportunity and so excited to see how the team plans to change the game once again.

Huge congrats to everyone else who made it in, thanks to whoever made ShaneO's card (Sann?) and thanks to my community for sticking with me these last few years.

Today, we share the heartbreaking news that Mackenzie Rowles, known to many of you as “Camelworks”, has passed away.

Together with his family and friends, we recently held a celebration of his life and gave him a final send-off, with his ashes being scattered across the Australian countryside.

I cannot describe the heartache I felt when I was told the news. Mack was my good friend, one of the first people I ever met in the games industry and Bethesda/YouTube community, over 10 years ago. He was the kindest, most welcoming person you could ever have the privilege of knowing. He cared very deeply about those around him - always happy to have a conversation and help you with any problem you were facing, without question. And man, he was just the funniest guy. No matter how you were feeling, he could make you laugh and brighten your day.

Camel’s family has asked for all of you to share your fondest memories of him and remember him for the incredible life he lived. He built an amazing community of over 800 thousand people across his YouTube channels, and we would love to hear how he touched your lives. Please also respect their privacy at this difficult time.

Finally, I would like to show you this video of Mackenzie, which was made for his family and played at his celebration of life service. Many tears were shed when editing this video, and I hope it does his memory justice.

Camel, I cannot help but cry when writing this, but rest in peace my brother. I will spend my days looking for you in Sovngarde and we will share a drink once again.
