Is that the Ark property fund scandal?
There was a fraud circa 10-12 years where advisers I knew who also were registered with Tenetconnect Network as I was; got customers to invest millions in a scam property scheme, where most of the money was stolen.
It was Tenet that ended my licence as an IFA in 2014 after saying they received allegations I had been selling pensions from an unauthorised firm.
Without any evidence or proof they suspended me and when I complained and threatened to sue, they resigned me from the network, ending my licence.
When I insisted on the evidence as I left the CEO of Tenet told me there was NO evidence on the MD's files who'd accused me. I was tipped off in a call to the compliance team that the authorisations team had been told by @TheFCA to get rid of me or risk the Network's licence.
At the time I was involved in a debate on failure of the IRHP Review to consider Hidden Credit liabilities with the technical head at the FCA David de Souza and also meeting with members of a local group of businessmen & Doctors who had been scammed in a property ponzi scheme called Ark or similar, to support them.
The advisers had been taking Ark fund bank statements out to placate customers that the funds were still in place but I was told the 0's had just been added on and instead of there being 49,000,000 in the fund it had all been stolen, it was actually just 49p.
I had evidence that I had repeatedly reported the two advisers at Solutions Financial Services in Hull for churning their clients & ripping them off to Tenet compliance & they refused to act but that's because Tenet self insured the first claims liability with an offshore capture company.
Still not sure which fraud reporting ended my IFA career the swaps or Solutions, probably conveniently for the FCA & Tenet both. They don't like people speaking up.
