UK ARMY LISTEN UP!!!
As the boys are in London Monday and Tuesday, let’s set the BEST example! This means NO going to the airport, NO going to the hotels and LEAVING them the HELL ALONE if they explore London!
Let’s prove that we are respectful✨
@Bluewillow_0922@maanonliplumper Or maybe this moron watched all of Roscoes genuinely loving adoring reactions to find a single two second extract they can edit down to make a hate tweet. 🤣 keep being obsessed with our boys @maanonliplumper , it suits you.
So this weekend we’ve been streaming Life Goes On (and Anpanman but that will be another post). So here are some informations and interviews about it. I personally really love this song. It carries that BTS magic of creating in a specific context but somehow making it universal.

Today I would like to introduce you to one of the pillars of this fandom. Her video essays have been very meaningful in my own ARMY journey, more specifically about being in a fandom for the first time at 25 years old (29 now).
Fandom culture is not a thing in my family. Except for worthy things. Worthy musicians, worthy books, worthy movies (looking at you LOTR and Star Wars). I was kind of forbidden or ridiculed if I brought up a subject like One Direction or Justin Bieber, or a French musical that was trendy in France when I was a teenager, so I didn’t. And I didn’t allow myself to be part of those fandoms or to even listen to it (except the musical, cause we studied it in school of course).
So going from this mindset to falling head over heals for seven Korean men doing K-pop was a psychological backflip I struggled with.
Boracity’s essay videos really helped me with that. I hope you will also enjoy it and find reassurance that…yeah maybe you’re pushing thirty but your interests and passions for this band is as worthy as your male friends knowing every stats of every football (I won’t call it soccer) leagues. Your BTS merch is as worthy as your dad’s baseball jersey. Your album collection is as worthy as your friend’s vinyls collection. Your admiration for these men is as worthy as anybody’s admiration for historical figures or artists. Your interest for Korean culture and food is as worthy as being interested in any European culture.
Please don’t diminish your interest.
Don’t think that you’re less than because your interest is not deemed as classy or worthy as others. You’re entitled to be passionate about what makes you happy. And you’re entitled to be loud about it (she says, when her parents don’t know about the BTS shrine in her bedroom). Enjoy !
