@SandsSoccer@wrongsideofpond The problem is that the organizers can only do so much. They ask the coaches to identify their skill level when they sign up and organize divisions based on that feedback. The problem is coaches wanting to win putting themselves 3 divisions down so they can be champs.
@wrongsideofpond Possession are all imperative at that age. Instead it’s a bunch of dads who either never played the game or not at a high level and they play kick ball and play down 3 divisions so they can win.
@wrongsideofpond While I agree that this is a big issue the cause, at least locally, is at that age it’s parent coaches at all but 1 club I know of. Even Kings Hammer, considered one of the best, have parent coaches at that age. Focusing on the concept of the diamond, getting comfortable with…

@AndrewSurvive@corvusglaive19@Marcus_Mosher I get it man. I'm a Bengals fan, where they penny pinch every contract ever. I just think it's a league-wide thing. Hope you have a good rest of your Monday, back to work for me.
@AndrewSurvive@corvusglaive19@Marcus_Mosher ?? I'm not a Cowboys fan so the FO ain't feeding me shit, it's basic contract negotiation tactics. JJ(WR1) sets the market and everyone negotiates after. Otherwise, players risk losing money by signing early. Lamb can now go ask for 31-33M/yr easy. That wasn't possible last week.
@AndrewSurvive@corvusglaive19@Marcus_Mosher This is not a Cowboy specific thing. Every single team and player function this way in contract negotiations. Let QB1/WR1/CB1 set the market and the rest come after. Hell, Chase was even quoted that he's waiting for JJ to set the market before he negotiates.
@AndrewSurvive@corvusglaive19@Marcus_Mosher Disagree. If Lamb signed 5 months ago at say 28M/yr, which would have been seen as a massive deal then, instead of waiting for JJ deal he would have lost ~4M/year. It made no financial sense for Lamb&agent to accept anything until WR1(JJ) set the market. NFL has always done this.
@AndrewSurvive@corvusglaive19@Marcus_Mosher The whole point you're trying to make is that the Cowboys didn't sign Lamb first. Lamb wasn't going to agree to a contract before the JJ deal. What the hell am I missing?
@AndrewSurvive@corvusglaive19@Marcus_Mosher What are you missing? The Cowboys can't force Lamb to sign. Lamb and his agent surely wouldn't agree to any contract until seeing what JJs contract was, knowing it would be blockbuster. THE COWBOYS WERE NEVER GOING TO SIGN LAMB FIRST BECAUSE LAMB WOULDN'T SIGN. Hope that's clear.
@AndrewSurvive@corvusglaive19@Marcus_Mosher It takes two to make a deal. Lamb would be doing himself a disservice signing anything before JJ did. He'd be throwing money out the window. Same with Chase. They were all waiting for this deal first to set the standard for theirs.
