53 years ago today, my father was taken from this world. 💔
I was only 10 years old when my father was killed, but at the time of his funeral, I fully realized the impact and importance of what my father was trying to do. Create a world of freedom, justice & equality for all. ❤️
It was a privilege to speak to drive time and breakfast slots this week about the affects of the violent disorder in Bristol on our colleagues. @ASPolfed Stay safe as we prepare for another challenging weekend
Once again the brave police officers of @ASPolice in Bristol showed fearless resilience to a mob. Thank you for putting your lives and safety in harms way to protect the public.
This is me ! Without the DDA and Equality Act 2010 I wouldn’t be in a career I love. It’s an honour to be part of this committee. Let’s keep pushing forward and make our Police Service the best it can be supporting disabled colleagues. Send us your pics & let’s celebrate ! (JA)
Thoroughly enjoying my uniform shifts around Covid. Lots of engage, encourage and explain and so far, no need to enforce...but that could change! Stay safe everyone #theuniformstillfits
The clocks go back tomorrow which means Halloween and Bonfire Night are approaching 🎃
Unfortunately, COVID regulations means you will have to do things differently this year.
The key things to remember are:
6⃣ Rule of 6
😷 Wear a face covering
↔ Keep 2 metres apart
Today marks the start of the 33rd anniversary of Black History Month in the UK! Time to celebrate Black History, heritage, culture & achievements. #BlackHistoryMonth#NationalInclusionWeek
This week is quite important for me as it recognises the contribution all people make irrespective if their identity. Intersectionality is key to understanding what inclusion is all about - belonging #stillable
I am heart broken to read that another brave colleague has paid the ultimate price to keep us safe. His colleagues, friends and family are in my thoughts and prayers... https://t.co/fw80Y1dE5a
This is a very sad day for British policing . Our thoughts are with the officer's friends and family and all our colleagues at @metpoliceuk and we'll support them in any way we can.

Morning spent receiving excellent CPD by @PeggyFed on Reasonable Adjustments. Timely reminder to use health and well being passports and think about @accesstowork for assessment and funding 👍
A employment tribunal judge has criticised Northumbria Police for how it dealt with an officer who was absent from work due to serious mental illness after trying to save a murder victim https://t.co/c3fhpRgXQ9
