Season 8 works better if you change two things: Have Dany attack the Red Keep and not the rest of the city. And have her order the destruction of the Iron Throne herself and sail back to Dragons’ Bay, realizing that’s where she belongs. #GOT #GOTFinale

- Arya goes sailing.
- Jon goes North to help the Wildlings rebuild.

Bad:
- Jon is forced to do that, rather than choosing it.
- Rather than voluntarily stepping down to “Break the Wheel” Dany gets character assassinated, then actually assassinated. #GOT

Then she should have realized that her place is ruling Dragon’s Bay and left voluntarily, leaving Jon and Tyrion in charge in Westeros. Everything else could have played out almost exactly the same and it would have made more sense. #GOT #GOTFinale

That should have gone exactly the way it did except without Dany’s character assassination. She should have realized her being Queen would have been more of the same, said “Dracarys,” and had Drogon destroy the throne. #GOT #GameOfThronesFinale
