Yah positional trades are actually doing better in this environment. As the midcap space is in bullish trend but momentum brusts are very rare in stocks. Check the Finance space also. Turn around story in micro fin space

The market is moving higher, but momentum strategies aren't working well right now. Sustained follow-through beyond the first day has been rare.

That said, it's not a market to sit out completely. Be highly selective—momentum trades are best taken near the 10/20 EMA
