@scambers73@Wimbledon I get the debate of profit sharing, but what will happen in reality is that when they agree to increase the profit sharing, so will ticket prices as the slams will not compromise their earnings. So it’s the fans who will pay for the increase in the profit allocation.
@TheTennisLetter@christophclarey I’ve said it many times, how tennis has evolved in terms of physicality and speed, grass must be off the calendar all together! It cannot be a surface for a sport like tennis with speed and change of direction.
@SportsUncensrd@piersmorgan@JohnTerry26 PM has to grow up, he has a personal relationship with CR and therefore arguing the impossible. It’s like a 10-year old arguing why he shouldn’t be allowed to eat lollipops for dinner.
Very good article. The challenge here is that tennis broadcasting to a large extent consist of previous (and current) tennis players, and some time current coaches part time commentating. This group will never report unbiased and will always protect the sport and its players.
Tennis is run like a boys club!
Look at tennis channel, it’s to a point where many people can’t stand the commentating, I for one, only watch it for the tennis.
People debate how to maintain tennis relevant for the younger generations. It’s simple, let unbiased and current generations do the broadcasting and more importantly, tennis needs governance, as it is now, its light years away from that!
And so are everyone else, entitled to their stance.
The facts are, the German prosecution determined there was enough evidence to prosecute.
The defense settled with the plaintiff out of court, case was closed.
Each one can interpret this the way they want, but it’s pretty damning.
And there are of course the Chair Umpire incident, which doesn’t play in his favor.
This is never going to go away, as unfortunate as it may be for him, but usually treating people with respect doesn’t lead to these type of accusations, whether violence or not is involved.
Unbelievably sad to see this, thanks to you at least he learnt during 6 months how life was meant to be. But it was so short, the realization of how cruel dogs are treated is simply heartbreaking.
It makes me look at my own dog in a different way, treasuring every moment with him and also realizing how lucky both he and I are!
@christophclarey Great, so tennis must giver her WCs so her kids can see her play, instead of giving them to younger aspiring players! I’m sure the kids will enjoy seeing her hit in the park as well. The entitlement in some of these older players is incredible!
@TheTennisLetter That’s wonderful, let’s see, tennis should give her WCs just so her kids can see her play, instead of giving the WCs to younger aspiring players! My lord, the entitlement is staggering!
@JakeDaviesMUFC The half-arse’ing of tennis is because the tennis establishment is boot licking someone who’s accused of abusing women and nobody gives a sh*t.
@jameskhansen Yeah it’s a muppet show, all these retired players have a take on things and are mainly joking themselves through the broadcasts. Thats what often happens when the past is trying to understand the present, it just doesn’t catch it!
@FabrizioRomano This club is tone deaf, completely, it’s unfathomable that any top player would like to play for them, and coach them. Assume that’s why they bring back a dinasour as their manager.
