At the quarterly forum of the Punjab Good Governance Fellowship Program, MILAAP 2024, IAS officer Varjeet Walia delivered a thought-provoking session on the last day, shedding light on key challenges and opportunities in governance and collaboration.
He emphasized the significance of broadening perspectives, increasing productive hours, and embracing a culture of continuous learning.
He also highlighted the successful PEHEL project, which he pioneered as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sangrur.
The Fellows found the session to be deeply insightful and inspiring, gaining practical insights on how to integrate happiness into professional environments to build a positive and efficient culture.
The last day of Milaap 2024, began on a high note with an insightful session by Shri Dhirendra Kumar Tiwari, IAS. Currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary for the Transport Department, Government of Punjab,he brought decades of administrative experience to the session.
In his session, DK Tiwari emphasized the importance of happiness in life, work, and society. He delved into Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, explaining how achieving various levels from basic needs to self-actualization leads to true happiness.
From his pioneering work introducing AI in political campaigns to shaping communication strategies in numerous political war rooms since 2013, his insights were truly impactful.
The Punjab Good Governance Fellowship Program had the pleasure of hosting Sagar Vishnoi, an experienced political campaigner & communications expert. He shared his deep knowledge on the intersection of AI & politics, gained through 12 years of strategic experience across.
He provided insightful perspectives on the role of AI in effective governance and discussed best practices for mitigating emergency situations. His hands-on experiences and forward-thinking ideas left the Fellows with actionable strategies to enhance governance and leadership.
The second session of Day 2 at MILAAP 2024 featured Varinder Sharma, IAS, who shared valuable experiences from his distinguished career in public service across various departments.
