We are here only to listen — on radio, during election rallies, and everywhere else. But when it comes to asking questions, do we even have that right?

We are not paying taxes for better roads, lower fuel prices, or relief for common people. It feels like our money is only funding the luxury, travel, and comforts of politicians.
Why do petrol, diesel, and milk prices keep rising — especially after elections? The public is struggling while politicians continue to enjoy power without accountability.
If both the Central and State governments reduce taxes, prices can come down immediately. But instead, the common man keeps suffering.
People are crying. Politicians are enjoying. Is this the governance we voted for?

Embassy Letter Raises Questions Over ‘Ayush Commissioner’ Title for Bengaluru Resident
New Delhi: A letter issued by the Embassy of India in Chad, addressing a Bengaluru-based individual as “Ayush Commissioner,” has triggered confusion and raised serious questions about official protocol and verification processes within diplomatic channels.
An investigation by this newspaper found no official record—either with the Central government or the Karnataka state administration—supporting the existence or appointment of such a designation linked to the individual. The title “Ayush Commissioner” typically refers to a senior government position associated with the Ministry of AYUSH, and its use carries administrative and regulatory authority.
Repeated attempts to seek clarification from the Embassy, including multiple emails and phone calls, have gone unanswered so far. The lack of response has only deepened concerns over how such a designation was used in formal diplomatic correspondence.
Officials familiar with government appointment procedures indicated that such titles are formally notified and documented, making the absence of any record unusual. The development has sparked debate over whether due diligence protocols were bypassed or if the designation was used without verification.
The incident raises broader questions about accountability and communication standards within Indian missions abroad. As confusion persists, there is growing demand for an official explanation to clarify whether the title was issued in error or reflects a deeper administrative lapse.
