Gm and happy Friday!
This week's policy memo is up!
https://t.co/h4BEGEODwo
The memo covers next week’s CFTC IAC Meeting, how bank lobbying may slow the CLARITY Act, and that the White House plans to convene digital asset and prediction markets leaders next week.
Anyway, @ZcashFoundation just announced an upcoming vote that will have a *major* influence on the next year or two of Zcash's evolution! And, an opportunity for you, if you qualify, to join the ZCAP: https://t.co/8UgUKkObO5 🔚
One of the most influential groups in Zcash is @ZcashFoundation's “Zcash Community Advisory Panel”. ZCAP determines the Board of Directors and the Zcash Community Grants committee, so its votes indirectly control about $100m worth of funding. ⤵️
Gm and happy Friday!
For the past few months, we’ve been publishing weekly updates that focus exclusively on public policy issues that are relevant to the #Zcash ecosystem. We cover relevant news items, explain what it means for Zcash, and provide actionable steps for interested individuals to engage in grass roots advocacy.
This week’s policy memo is available here: https://t.co/Y4c1YPzYpJ
It covers the CLARITY Act timeline in the Senate (we’re now looking at a potential Senate vote in September when the session resumes after August recess) and recent primaries for pro-crypto candidates backed by Fairshake PAC and its affiliates.
Our weekly policy memos can be viewed here, where you can also check out our special updates: https://t.co/tLJbkGzNT6

We also have a powerful X monitor that allows users to explore Zcash-related conversations on X through focused posts, concise summaries, and activity trends organized for the PGPZ community. Available here: https://t.co/PigE2OBMTf
Thanks all for the very warm welcome and overwhelming support! Working through follow requests, but the account has been rate limited.

Today, we sent a letter to Senate leadership urging passage of the CLARITY Act while preserving its core protections: clear treatment of network tokens, protections for non-custodial developers, and technology-neutral rules for privacy-preserving blockchain innovation.
